Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what ShePoses collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: when you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a unique identifier and, depending on your choices, your name and email. Photos: the selfies, full-body photos, and reference poses you upload or import, and the generated result images we create for you. Usage data: subscription status, generation counts, and basic non-identifying app activity used to keep the service running. Product analytics: in the ShePoses app and on sheposes.app we use PostHog to measure screens, page views, and basic interactions (such as button taps) so we can improve the product. PostHog is product analytics, not advertising tracking, and we do not sell or share PostHog data with advertisers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your photos only to generate your pose-transfer results and to store them in your personal library. We use account information to authenticate you and sync your content across devices. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Photos and Face Data
ShePoses processes photographs you choose to upload. Those photos may depict your face or body (for example, selfies). We do not use Apple Face ID, TrueDepth, or other device biometric sensors, and we do not create or store facial geometry templates, face prints, or similar biometric identifiers. Face imagery appears in your photos only because you uploaded those photos for pose transfer. We use this imagery solely to generate your requested result and to store that result in your library. You can delete individual creations in the app, or permanently delete your account, photos, and personal data via Settings → Delete Account.
4. AI Processing
When you generate a pose (including the onboarding preview), your uploaded photo and chosen reference pose image are sent to our third-party AI processing provider, Runware (using OpenAI GPT Image 2.5 Flare), solely to generate the output image for your request. Runware processes the images to fulfil that request. We do not use your photos to train our models. Before the first time photos are sent for AI processing, the app asks for your permission and explains this sharing. Your photos and results are also stored with our backend provider, Supabase, so you can access your library. We do not sell your photos.
5. Storage & Security
Your account data, photos, and results are stored with our backend provider (Supabase) under access controls so that only your account can read your files. Data is encrypted in transit to Supabase and to Runware for inference. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Subscriptions & Purchases
Subscriptions and generation packs are billed by the Apple App Store (ShePoses is currently iPhone-only) and managed via RevenueCat. We receive subscription status (active/inactive) and purchase events but not your full payment card details.
7. Advertising & App Tracking
The iOS app uses Meta App Events (the Facebook SDK) to measure advertising: app installs and in-app purchases. Apple's StoreKit purchase events can be logged automatically for that measurement. We do not use Facebook Login, Meta Audience Network, or Advanced Matching. Before using the device advertising identifier, iOS asks once whether you want to allow tracking; you can decline. If you allow tracking, Meta may receive that identifier and related measurement events so we can tell whether ads led to an install or a subscription. If you decline, the app still works and we do not use that identifier for ads measurement. You can change the choice later in iOS Settings. We do not sell your personal data.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your photos, generated results, and account data while your account is active. You can delete individual creations in the app at any time. To remove your account, photos, and personal data permanently, go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app. After deletion, we remove associated content from our systems subject to ordinary backup and legal retention limits.
9. Children's Privacy
ShePoses is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account in Settings, or contact support@sheposes.app for additional requests.
